House Pet Sitting 6th-11th Febuary

One thing I have learnt since I started House and Pet sitting full time was that there will be days or even weeks where you have no House-sitting jobs. This can be a little stressful especially if it is your only way of having a roof over your head and a bed to lay in; unlike most House and pet sitters who either have a van or caravan to sleep in, I do not have this privilege yet, my car is not big enough. I am planning to one day have a van of my own where I am able to sleep in when I do have gaps in between House sitting jobs.

So, last week I found myself stressing out, just a little bit, The following week I had a gap where I didn’t have a house sitting job. Thankfully I do have plan B where I can contact friends who are happy for me to crash at their place during this time, but this is something that I try to avoid as much as I can, even though my friends say that it’s not a bother. Thankfully, I ended up finding two House sits and the dates fitted perfectly.

The first house sit was for two very beautiful and active dogs Molly a 6 year old Labradoodle and Rosie a five year old Labradoodle / cobber dog. Then there is Felix a gentle and loving 13 year old Birman cat. Molly and Rosie would follow me everywhere. They were such adorable and active dogs. Bed time was spent with them both on my bed, pretty much taking over, but I simple enjoyed them so much that I was happy to share my bed with them.

The second house sit was again for three dogs and a cat. Two Cavoodles and a sweet eight-month-old Ragdoll kitten. Again I had two adorable dogs following me everywhere, and tagging along was the little kitten. I also shared my bed with them. It’s funny how no matter how many times I moved around in bed, it didn’t bother them, they just moulded themselves with my body and went back to sleep. On the morning where I had to leave they did not make it easy for me. Their cute little faces are looking up at me saying please don't go.

I am really looking forward to looking after them again.
